I first encountered Mark Flagler 6 years ago when creating a series of videos highlighting the International Appalachian Way, which runs across the north of the island of Ireland from Donegal to Antrim. I was impressed with Mark’s professionalism and creativity and sought out opportunities to work with Mark in capturing the stunningly visual coastline of the island of Ireland. Mark has worked with me on many filming commissions and added photography to his skills to bring value to these commissions. Recently Mark has worked independently and under my direction to capture the remote but beautiful Rathlin Island which lies in the sea of Moyle off the north coast of Ireland. Both through the footage capture and editing, Mark was able to inject the sense of peace and otherworldliness found on the island in a series of visuals from dawn to dusk within the rich and beautiful setting.
