Flagler Films Walking the Camino Documentary has begun production

Mark Flagler has begun walking and filming the 800km+ Camino de Santiago, French Way. Mark began his journey in St. Jean Pied de Port, France will will finish in Santiago de Compostela, Spain in late May.

Mark is walking and filming the 6-7 week journey to produce a short documentary that will premiere on YouTube this August. Flagler Films will also produce a longer documentary with additional information as a digital download on the Flagler Films website.

The trip so far has been incredible! The journey began walking over the Pyrenees Mountains in a spring storm (driving rain, gale force winds and a bit of snow). Since then the weather has been great and have captured plenty of great footage and photographs. The scenery is inspiring and have met some interesting people from over 15 countries so far.

Below are some of the favorite photos (captured from iPhone) during the first 10 days. The most difficult part is selecting the top 12 photos. Mark is posting daily videos and photographs on all the social media platforms. Just search Flagler Films and you will see the journey online.

Mark Flagler and Flagler Films would like to thank the four regions of Spanish Tourism along the Camino de Santiago, French Way who are supporting this project. Thank you Navarra Tourism, La Rioja Tourism, Castilla y Leon Tourism and Galicia Tourism for your support. I would also like to thank the Spanish Tourism Office in Dublin, Ireland for the help and support on this project.
