Mark Flagler and Flagler Films showcased on RTE’s Nationwide Programme
Mark Flagler and Flagler Films was showcased on RTE’s Nationawide programme. The 30-minute programme aired on RTE One on January 16, 2023 at 7pm. Mark was part of the TV programme focusing on the International Appalachian Trail Ulster-Ireland. Mark has extensive experience walking and filming this trail. Flagler Films has produced many videos about the IAT Ulster-Ireland. Watch here.
The International Appalachian Trail (IAT) Ulster-Ireland is a 279-mile / 449km long distance walking trail starting in West Donegal in the Republic of Ireland which continues into Northern Ireland passing through the Sperrins Mountains, the Causeway Coast and Glens of Antrim before it finishes in Larne in County Antrim.
Mark is also on the steering group/committee that helped establish the International Appalachian Trail in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Mark was the first person to ever walk the Ireland (Donegal) section of the route in 2011.
The Nationwide programme highlights the route very well and delighted that the trail is getting its well deserved promotion on television.
