Mountain rescue is a 24/7, 365 day a year, voluntary service that assist those in need in difficult and remote terrain. The Mountain Rescue Teams in Washington State are Central Washington Mountain Rescue Council, Inland Northwest Search & Rescue, North Country Volcano Rescue Team, Tacoma Mountain Rescue, Olympic Mountain Rescue, Seattle Mountain Rescue, Everett Mountain Rescue Unit, Skagit Mountain Rescue and Bellingham Mountain Rescue Council.
